My First

My first branded. A gift from my beloved. His Dec gift to me. Why Dec gift? Cos there are just too many occasions on Dec - Our anniversary (1st week of dec), my birthday (2nd week of dec), Christmas (3rd week of dec) and his birthday (last week of dec). We've come to an agreement that we will settle for just one Dec gift for all. At least till before we struck rich. lol. I'm going to give myself 1 or 2 months more. He told me so and my mom too. I will try.

Independence Day

Independce Day for me for the next 2 weeks to come. That makes it Independence Week actually. I'm going to miss you. In fact, I'm already starting to. Nuff of the mushyssss. 5 Commanments while you're 'squatting inside':i) Drink lots of water. Do not get dehydrated.ii) Know your limits. If unwell, please inform relevant authorities (i.e. Pls take care of yourself)iii) Let me know at the end of day that u're alright and have survived the day.iv) Remember to inform me if you can be 'released' on Sat and Sun. (*if not i will go find other guys for dinner. hahahahhah! Kiddinggg~)v) Last but not least, miss me! (Paste my photo somewhere! In the cupboard, under the pillow, on the ceiling, inside your uniform. WAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA) Love you. Take care Pls.P.S. Commanment No. 2 is of extreme importance. 007 Meet-Up

Met up with my 007 friends minus ST, QY and of course Ola who will not be present at any meet-ups anymore since he's long returned to the faraway land of Norway. Sincere apology to Sher and Cyn cos I was 1.5 hrs late! Luckily I'm not the only one though. haha!
I would like to introduce this atas Japanese Restaurant that we had our lunch at.

I think my food was a tad too expensive. $30 odd. Huge serving no doubt but I didn't really take a liking to it. Alene found my salad yummy though. The green tea ice-cream was my favourite as usual. Udon was okie not fantastic. Next time, I'd order Alene's. Hers looks yummier.
Sometimes, I find great inertia to meet up with friends. Especially friends that I hadn't seen in a long time. The anti-social side of me kicks in and I find myself lazy to entertain. Even though I'm one who would prefer to get out of the house then cooping myself up at home, I would much prefer to just meet up with people closest to my heart. But as the word suggests, inertia - (physics) tendency of a body to maintain its state of rest or uniform motion unless acted upon by an external force (www.dictionary.com), it's often the case that once I managed to overcome this inertia, I will find it a joy that I had met up with them. At the end of the day, I am a happy and satisfied girl.
I have been wanting to rid myself of this inertia that has been the cause of putting numerous meet-ups on hold. However, inertia is a law of nature isn't it? As the defintion suggests, 'unless acted upon by an extenal force', I guess this external force would refer to the effort that I would need to put in.
Anyway, my horoscope for the week says
"new friendship are opening up. In fact you may have 2 completely different social scenes before you. Can you follow both? You might find that the first few days are confusing with some people urging restraint and others going wild"
Oh well, hope it's true yea?

Work enviroment is an important determinant in one's job satisfaction. A fantastic working environment + a sucky job = a happy worker = positive perception of the job. A not-so-nice working environment + a supposedly good job = an unhappy worker = a negative perception of the job. By work environment, it can boil down simply to your colleagues around you. Even if it is an individual contribution role, environment still affects. That's why it is called environment.

Dilemma

I have a 2nd option before me now. To take or not to take? Currently, my job earns good money and has good career prospect. However, this other option has good career prospect as well. And it is something that I have a passion for. Something that I feel I will be confident in and will enjoy. Dilemma to the max. I've gotten the Kraft MA job. Something that I really wanted perhaps 2 months back. Well done Li Yee. But... I'm in a dilemma now.Oh yes, Congrats HHH! The world is small. Or rather Singapore is. haha!
